Parallel conversion of an existing ARC/Info system to ArcView and SDE. Examination of AML scripts in conversion to Avenue and SDE API and Oracle with Pro*C-code.

Developed a sophisticated GIS/GPS application with Visual Basic and MapObjects with an Access database. Video database (with the ActiveMovie COM control) linked with a map proved a very interesting project.

p    Developed the MITRE Joint Mapping Toolkit (JMTK) Mapviewing Prototype for the National Imaging and Mapping Agency (NIMA). This involved a combination of Cartographer, Windows/Motif, Xt-Intrinsics and C/C++ programming on a Solaris platform.

p   Novell Netware administrator on a LAN of approximately 50 users. PC and database application support as well as planning, architecture, and decsion-making regarding future network direction. Two major accomplishments:

p   Moved the company from a DOS-based environment to a Windows-based one

p   NT 3.5 setup with gateway to the existing Netware LAN.
