p    Assisted in the integration of 2D and 3D Geographic Information Systems capabilities on a project involving Battlefield Exercise Monitoring custom software developed in OOA/OOD/OOP with Rational Rose, Visual C++ (MFC, Win32), MapObjects, GeoPres, and TerraVista (terrain database software - 3D GIS).  Also, researched NT Terminal Server Beta edition to simplify software design for ASP-style Server-based GIS applications.  Saved the project approximately $130,000 in thick client hardware and software licensing.

p    On a contract bid for BellSouth, developed a service vehicle tracking prototype application using Arcview Internet Map Server, Netscape’s Web Server, ESRI’s Map Café, Cold Fusion and Oracle.

p    Developed the MITRE Joint Mapping Toolkit (JMTK) Mapviewing Prototype for the National Imaging and Mapping Agency (NIMA). This involved a combination of Cartographer, Windows/Motif, Xt-Intrinsics and C/C++ programming on a Solaris platform.
